FOAMGLAS® Supports
- FOAMGLAS® insulation has the ability to be used as a pipe support component to eliminate or significantly reduce the potential problems of direct thermal paths in the piping system
- Made primarily out of FOAMGLAS® insulation, Rilco reinforces the insulation with various structural components, giving it the ability to carry high loads.
- Resistance to settlement or failure of insulated pipe supports also means that pipes remain in their proper alignment, without stresses at nozzles, flanges or fittings
- FOAMGLAS® insulation supports it own weight making it ideal for vertical pipe runs of all heights
- FOAMGLAS® can be used for high temperature, low temperature and even dual temperature applications
Service temperature range:
- High temperature: 0°F to 900°F
- Low temperature: -450°F to 200°F
- Dual temperature: -450°F to 900°F
Perlite pipe supports are applicable in high temperature environments up to 1000 °F.
Mineral Wool pipe supports are applicable in high temperature environments up to 1200°F

Benefits of using FOAMGLAS®:
- 100% moisture impermeable insulation
- Non-combustible
- Non-absorbent
- Corrosion resistant
- Constant, long term energy efficiency provides low, predictable energy costs
- Minimal maintenance/repair/replacement of insulation reduces life cycle costs
- Proven durability for both underground and exterior installations
Features of Dual-Temperature FOAMGLAS®:
- Vaper barrier
- Tie-in with sheet metal
- Resting, Guided, Anchored and Directional Stop applications
- Available for all design loads
- Clamping forces to prevent slippage of pipe through support with Bellevile washer bolt assemblies
